Fifth Generation Napan, Paul Hein was born with wine in the blood. His roots date back 142 years to 1879 when his three times great granfather tended to 29,000 vines on Mt. Veeder. Pauls philosophy to wine making is cemented in the old word. Small lots, bin fermentation and as little mechanical intervention as possible.

This ‘hands on’ approach with each bin, from tending to the grapes, harvesting and caring attention allows for the creation of the highest quality wines.

Nicola Jasci grew up under the careful tutalage of his father and grandfather as they created wonderful traditional wines. The family has championed responsible farming and wine making since the 60’s and was the first certified organic vineyard in Italy.
Nicola has taken this incredile heritage and become a world class wine maker in his own right, creating numerous award winning wines and scoring 95 to 99 points year over year with his creations.
William Savian’s grandfather started in 1925 with a small four acre plot, named ‘Podre Bainsizza’ in memory of a great battle, where the provinces of Venice, Pordenone and Trviso meet and melt together, creating their own unique DOC Lison Pramaggiore.
These were not the fertile lands of today, years of perseverance and undying commitment to the land was needed. Daily the tough, arid, and clayey soil was developed into a humble vineyard. The fruits of a proud man’s belief, commitment and labour.
Today, rising from these humble beginnings the tenacious soil, rich in shallow carbonate, calcareous clay is cultivated focusing on organic farming methods. William the third generation of this wine making family continues with the same commitment from all those years ago and creates world class wines.
